To effectively train an athlete must:
- Commit to a Goal to stay on track and make a doing there best.
- Have a structured personalized training plan that prepares them for race day both physically and mentally.
- Work smart by using sports watches and fitness trackers such as Polar and Garmin
- Monitor and track training results to ensure progress.
Many of our athletes have benefited from the use of a training tracking system such as TRAININGPEAKS as well as the use of Sports Watch. As a club, we are currently using TrainingPeaks to provide us with a complete web, mobile and desktop solution for enabling smart and effective endurance training we have coupled that we Polar V800 Watch. However, we recognize different athletes have different needs and one of our coachs can provide guidance as to what solution is best for each athlete.
